Frank Abbott
General Partner

Frank W. Abbott, Jr. is a member of the HPC Management Committee and
is the President of Abbott Bros. Development, Inc. (ABD). Mr. Abbott is the
founding General Partner of several real estate development partnerships, and
Managing General Partner of Pacific Atlantic Investment, LP, and the President
of Walter-Abbott Corporation, a real estate holding company.

Prior to 1987, Mr. Abbott was Executive Vice President of D.N. & E. Walter &
Company, an investment company founded in San Francisco in 1853, where
he managed securities, real estate, oil and gas, software, and high-tech venture
capital investments. From 1977 to 1980 he worked in the audit division of
Arthur Anderson & Company.

In 1975 Mr. Abbott received a Bachelor of Science degree from the
University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, with a
concentration in accounting and finance.
